The largest event in the composite industry this year took place on 16-17 October. The 9th edition of the KOMPOZYT-EXPO® International Trade Fair for Composite Materials, Technologies and Products attracted 3,250 visitors and 202 exhibitors from 24 countries around the globe.

-“We have been coming to the trade show ever since its first edition and can't help but notice that it is becoming more and more specialised every year. It attracts visitors who already know what questions they want to ask and what composites are to begin with. This is evidenced by the high traffic at our booth and the new contacts we made. We were happy to welcome foreign guests, e.g. from France and Ukraine, which shows that KOMPOZYT-EXPO® is now an international event. The event was very good in terms of organisation, and we will return next year for sure”, says Szymon Koczwara from Mastermodel s.c.

Industry news, expert lectures

A new addition to this year's KOMPOZYT-EXPO® was the special LAB-CONTROL zone, where companies could introduce the general public to their latest lab accessories, analytical equipment, software, optical, measurement and control devices. The workshops and expert lectures offered in the zone met with huge interest; they were divided into 3 thematic streams: raw materials for the production of composites, composites in construction and composites in transport.

- “What makes these workshops particularly valuable is the expert knowledge imparted by top-notch specialists and the presentation of its practical applications”, said one of the participants. The workshops were organised by the Warsaw University of Technology, the Dresden University of Technology and the Polish Cluster of Composite Technologies.
